PDN PhotoPlus International Conference and Expo
Lens Baby Sol 45mm f3.5 on a Fujifilm camera |
Over the weekend, I attended the PDN PhotoPlus Expo, for the first year. I felt like a kid at a candy shop. Everything a camera nerd would drool over was available for all members with a pass to explore. Oh yeah, and did I mention the freebies!
I played with a lens baby sol 45mm f3.5 on a Fujifilm camera. I observed different types of inkjet photo papers and fine art papers from the company Durico, with all sorts of different textures, specifically their HANJI paper; a traditional paper made in South Korea grabbed my attention. I received many free t-shirts, handbags, cloth to clean my lens with and sample fine art photo papers. Plus, I experienced different light setups with explorer of light and ARRI ambassador, Bruce Dorn.

Aside from discovering new gear, Photo Expo is a great atmosphere to review many subjects thought in courses like digital materials & processes and digital lighting 2 and 3.
Great experience!
